US Steel Fairfield Works Site, Birmingham, Alabama
EMA, as a subcontractor to Williams Environmental Services, conducted the characterization of unknown drummed waste at the US Steel Fairfield Works Site in November 2001. Work at this Site included preparation of a Site-specific Health and Safety Plan, sampling of the drummed materials in Level C protective equipment, screening of the contents, consolidation of materials with similar characteristics, and composite sampling for disposal purposes.
