Augusta-Richmond County Municipal Landfill Blythe, Georgia Permit Number 121-015/016D (SL)
EMA conducted the groundwater and surface water monitoring, statistical data evaluations, and reporting for this landfill from 1998 to 2006. The work was being conducted in accordance with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) Rule 391-3-4-.14. The landfill had two different SWMU's and 53 groundwater monitoring wells used to monitor three different groundwater tables on Site. EMA's project manager was involved with all negotiations with Georgia Environmental Protection Division for this landfill.EMA's project manager revised the Hydrogeologic Investigation Report and Sampling and Analysis Plans, prepared several Request for Minor Modifications to the existing Permit, and prepared the MCL Exceedance Evaluation Report arguing against the need for an Assessment of Corrective Measures. EMA received approval from EPD for continued detection monitoring only in 1999.
