EMA conducted soil and groundwater investigations at this Dry Cleaner Site located in Norcross, Georgia from 2011 to 2016. PCE impacted soils were removed and disposed of at Giant Resource Recovery located in Attalla, Alabama. EMA subsequently prepared the Voluntary Investigation and Remediation Plan (VRP) for the investigation and remediation of the groundwater contamination. The dissolved phase PCE has been treated in-situ by EMA by injecting activated persulfate into the aquifer. Investigation and cleanup continues.
