EMA developed the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for these industrial sites and the landfill in accordance with Georgia's General NPDES Permit for Storm Water Industrial Discharges (GAR000000). The SWPPP for Cargill included the management and monitoring of the storm water run-off from Cargill's adjacent HSRA Site. EMA conducts the annual SWPPP monitoring for the Southern States and August-Richmond County landfill sites.
