EMA conducted the characterization of drummed waste at Augusta-Richmond County's White Road Site in December 2000. Work at this Site included preparation of a Site-specific Health and Safety Plan, sampling of the drummed materials in Level C protective equipment, screening of the contents, consolidation of materials with similar characteristics, and composite sampling for disposal purposes.
